Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s first female gymnast to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the title of world champion for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles along with the younger of her sisters Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area), grew up there. Simone became interested in gymnastics at age six in a day-care field excursion at Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years under supervision of trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles received a silver medal for vault as well as a gold medal on the floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin playing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. She was the most dominant in her sport within a mere two years. Biles was notable for her constant performance her enthusiasm and level of challenge she made every event - vault bar, uneven bars as well as balance beams and ground exercise.
