Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who became the nation's sweetheart following her win of the American Idol title in the premiere season. It brought her to fame and earned her the contract of RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. Since then, she's released many studio albums, three of which reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just did not make it to the top. She's one of the biggest artists that come out of her participation in the American Idol series. In order to achieve success she experimented with different musical styles, and explored topics. As a tribute to her talent and uniqueness, she has received a lot of praise as well as awards. She has also been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. She has also appeared in film and television. She is also the writer of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charitable organizations.
