Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa is a former lead singer in The Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish melody-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31st 1986) is an Canadian singer, best known for her role as lead singer of the Swedish popular melodic death band Arch Enemy, and former lead vocalist and founding member of the Canadian metalcore group, the Agonist. The way she sings is both grunting and clean vocals (singing). Though she's mostly associated with the metalcore genre and melodic death metal She has also performed as singer-in-residence for various power metal, symphonic music and deathcore acts, such as Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf in addition to performing live with Nightwish and Tarja Turunen. The Agonist (2004-2014) In the year 2004 White-Gluz founded the Agonist (then known as "Tempest") together with other band members Danny Marino and Chris Kells in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. White Gluz released three albums while being the singer-lead for the Agonist. The group disbanded the band in early 2014 after she accepted the offer to join the band as vocalist Arch Enemy.
